VRML - virtual explorable University - Manual
Zur deutschen Version dieser Seite
To be able to enter the VRXUNI, the following is required: The examples mentioned above are just that: examples. We can not recommend any specific product, because it is impossible for us to track all the programms available on the Internet.
Your VRML browser should already be configured to work together with your WWW browser. We are sorry, but as there are quite a lot of browsers on the market, we can not provide you with information about your specific installation. Nevertheless, if you use a browser with plug-in capabilities, chances are that you are ready to go the moment your VRML-PlugIn is installed. In the other case, check your browsers documentation.

To minimize transmission time, we have compressed the VRXUNI files with the compression tool "gzip". Your browsers should be able to uncompress this type of data. You can check if your browser can do this by clicking this link. If everything works allright, your VRML browser should start up and display a computers monitor. Now you are ready to enter the VRXUNI.

If this does not happen, check this link, which points to the uncompressed version of the aforementioned scene. If this did'nt work either, you have got a problem with your browsers.

If your browser is able to show you only the uncompressed version, you should enter the VRXUNI through this alternative link to the uncompressed VRXUNI data.

Information about navigating the VRXUNI can be found in our photogallery.
